Saint Patrick's Cathedral Music Department

Saint Patrick's Cathedral Choir is a liturgical choir. It is a volunteer choir that sings the 11 am mass every Sunday plus special masses and events at the Cathedral and in the Auckland diocese. The choir is open to anyone. However, a singer needs to be able to:

1. Sing in tune
2. Read music and count
3. Be committed to singing every Sunday at the 11 am mass
4. Be available for Wednesday night rehearsals from 7 to 8:30 pm

5. All new singers join the new singer choir that meets at 6 pm before the 7 pm Wednesday rehearsals. After learning the music, new members are then put into the Cathedral Choir when they can sing the music adequately.
